We have received the following message from the Netball Committee:
For the two outside grades, could schools please pass on the reminder that spectators are only permitted in the blue zone of the turf or at the ends of the courts, well clear of the baseline.
The only people permitted at the side of the courts (particularly Court 2) are coaches, scorers, and reserves. Please also ensure these areas do not impede the umpires’ channel.
Last week we spent a considerable amount of time moving spectators who were unfortunately unaware of the rules and expectations that were circulated with registrations and again alongside the first draw.
Our umpires are young and very new to officiating. Keeping spectators back from the sidelines gives them more freedom and confidence to make decisions without adults commenting close by. This has also been an expected requirement for several years now.

A message from GoBus

Morning all,

Due to the bridge on Alfredton Road being closed to all vehicular traffic and therefore having to double back and detour around the bridge, the bus coming into Pahiatua will be late around 30 or 40 minutes.  

We ask your patience with delay as it is outside of our control

A reminder as per the school newsletter that this Sunday is our Term 2 School Community Mass at 11.15am at St Brigid's Church.  Students wear their formal school uniform and sit with their families. We look foirward to seeing all school families at this event.

We have had a case of headlice reported to us and would appreciate all families checking their chidlren's hair on a regular basis so that we can reduce the likelyhood of other chidlren getting these.

Public Health Nurses can provide head lice treatment for the whole family, this includes head lice product, conditioner and combs and advice. The Public Health nurse will either come to school and do an assessment or make a home visit and make an assessment there. Please see the School Office for a referral form.
